iPhone 4S / Canon 5d MKII Side by Side Comparison by Robino Films

Here’s a “fair” test between the iPhone 4S and the Canon 5D MK II. I made a little rig that allowed me to shoot both cameras at the same time side by side. All scenes are perfectly synced together so you can pause and scrutinize the frames!

Now I really want one.

An album that reaches for the stars but gets lost along the way.

When it comes to Patrick Kelleher, the Irish music scene puts him on a pantheon that the casual music fan might fail to see. His debut album, You Look Cold, took Nialler 9 readers’ album of the year, but was summarily rejected for the Choice prize, not even garnering a nomination, causing quite the furore for Jim Carroll. It seems that when it comes to Patrick Kelleher, you’re in one of two camps: he’s a genius, or else you just haven’t realised he’s a genius yet. There were plenty of hints at genius on You Look Cold, namely ‘He Has To Sleep Sometime, overall the album left a large feeling of apathy.

Keren Ann is a sound designer, singer, songwriter, composer, producer and engineer based largely in Paris, Tel-Aviv and New York.

Many of her songs were performed by internationally acclaimed artists, among others Henri Salvador, Jane Birkin, Francoise Hardy, Rosa Passos, Jacky Terasson, Emmanuelle Seigner and Benjamin Biolay.

Keren Ann performs at The Allen Room on Wednesday, February 1, on Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series.
